Interesting lighting on the foreground character...not sure about what's happening in the background. Maybe it could be amplified in some way by making some connection with the black at the lower left and the far background. Not sure. Good color on the main character.

Very interesting piece. The face is lit, yet hidden and the hair is tied and sort of cut. There is something going on in the upper background, but what? Overall very good.
