Description

In deepest grief, the widow of a fallen soldier sobs herself to sleep upon the grave of her lost love. While doing some much needed clean up of my harddrive I came across the series of test renders done for this image. It was done so long ago I can't even recall everything that went into it. The one thing I do recall is it was based on by beloved Stacey's In Memory - Memorial Day 2008 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1681696&member I recall reading the poem there and this image came to mind. I think my intent was to hold it till Memorial Day 09 and post it then, but since I have little else worth posting at the moment, I'll go ahead and share this now.

And I still say this is a stunning image! I love the emotion behind it and the feeling of her sorrow that most certainly can be felt through the image. Thank you for posting it.
