Description

Please be sure to click on the main image to see it full size, because the detail is incredible, and the preview image does no justice. This is a continuation of my previous work found in my gallery here. My latest creation which is comparable if not better than the previous "Study in Realism" images. The character featured utilize some heavily modified vender textures, with the added process of realism that I use to come closer to perfect the look. This is a straight render with no postwork.

I figure your working to get as close to perfect on the render. One thing that seems to me, to need fixing, is the whites of her eyes, its too white, their are no tiny veins and no shimer as it being wet, as it is in a normal eye. Then there is the little bit in the corner of the eye socket, its just white, needs to be pinker and have a bit of wetness. And then there is the little bit of Asymmetry in a human face, thats not in the mesh, its the main reason people can easly notice a render from real. I'm trying to remember ware it was, but there used to be a bunch of face morphs on a web page that I can't find anymore, that had face morphs for Asymmetry.

I agree with pdg1234 the eyes for me are as near as dam it but 100% agree with the asymmerty..she is TOO perfect. brilliant but needs almost disfiguring a smidge. Awesome render thought, well done n the textures 5+

pdq1234, I completely agree with you. I've been staring at those eyes for the last couple of days while working on this WIP, thinking they need a lot of work still. Everything you mentioned are things I intend to improve. They definitely have too much of a plastic response to the lighting. While the texture has veins, I'm thinking my displacement map is washing out the whites too much. With regard to the asymmetry, you are dead on. Some people are incredibly close to being close to symmetrical, while most are asymetrical as our heads don't naturally shape perfectly as they form when we are babies. One study that I read is that people are naturally more attracted to people who are nearly symmetrical versus those who are more asymetrical. I'll post some updates as this work in progress improves. Thank you for the input.
