Description

It was a nice change of pace to work on a closeup. I had the pose lying around for months and finally decided to get serious with it, did some additional modifications to her face and expression and added a straw. I had to do a lot of tweaking to the render engine and to the materials (specially the eyes) to get good results but I'm quite happy with it. The background are actual 3d bushes in the scene but I rendered them separately for the strong DOF effect. Compositing DOF effects always takes a lot of time but most postwork went into the hair. Apart from that and a few minor fixes it's pretty much a straight render.
