in full-resolution, one can really see the velvet surface of this rose, as well as all the veins (however subtle they may be). It's amazing how roses (at a certain point) get this squared-off look as the petals fold-in on themselves...your angle allows us to see that in all its different incarnations (nice p.o.v. for that) as well as the natural decay that sets into all flowers. Another of your simple shots with a lot of complexity; and your background is just subtle enough to enhance, but not interfere. Very nice work.
