Description

This is my tribute to my wonderful brave dog, Martie,she had many trials and tribulations in her fourteen and a half years of life but she always came through them with flying colours. I sent my darling little lass to the Rainbow Bridge on Monday morning at 6.30. I'm sorry I can't write any more I am too upset!!! Hugs Sylvia

SPLENDID WHITE horse fro a AWESOME tribute for the memory of A WONDERFUL and EXCELLENT 14.5 years female dog !!! We are not educated with the death's idea on our occidental culture...and our heart is always broken for a small friend we have loved during all his life !!! TOUCHING dolors are the most natural !!!

I am so sorry Sylvia for your loss. We lost 3 dogs and two horses. I know our dogs will play together over the rainbow bridge. I know how hard it is. Many hugs my friend. Wonderful dedication.

Here are the words to 'The Rainbow Bridge' for anyone who doesn't know them, 'The Rainbow Bridge' Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. I am just so sorry Sylvia, I sit here almost crying myself having to hold back the tears for your loss. It was you who introduced me to Rainbow Bridge last year and it makes me cry every time I read it... and there I go. I had to put down me beloved Torty Pingo some three years ago and I still feel for her and at times I wake up in the night and can feel her rustling in my bed and I see her every once in a while in my house. It is just so darn hard.. and I am crying now so I have to stop.... blessed be and hugs dear friend. I do share your sorrow and suffer for your loss.
