Description

Lost in Society Reflects what I've seen this past weekend. The elderly homeless are growing, as is the families due to hard times. He once had a home with a fire burning to keep him warm. Now he has a bench and if he's lucky a cardboard box for a blanket to stave off the elements. Ice, snow, cold and hunger has made another lost soul a victim of societies plight... I know it's heavy for a beginning of a New Year. This past weekend this is what I saw while out and about and was the inspiration for this piece. Feeling a bit better. It wasn't the flu...it was pnumonia I had...I'm on medications now. Thanks Tennesse girl XX Happy New Year Mina XX00 Thank you ahead of time for leaving comments and viewing my work. Margie

Glad you are feeling better, Margie. I've been suffering from bronchitis myself, but I think I'm getting better. The image is really good, and your words as well. Heavy yes, but we all need to be aware ... and thankful. Reminds me of a song I've heard lately, by Brandon Heath "Give Me Your Eyes" ... I recommend you to listen to him on YouTube. 5+

I'm glad you are feeling a little better. This is a great reflection of the times we live in, some of it is good but other sides not so great.

This is beautiful work, and a sad indication on what is going on in so many places, all I can say at a time like this is we all have to reach out in some way, if we can. Glad you are feeling better. Last year I caught some type of flu that lasted over a month it was awful, so please take care!!
