Description

On a cold, winter stroll by the Thames through Kings Meadow in Reading, I couldn't resist this trio of bare trees. The picture, when viewed at full size, was a little uninspiring so I had a little play with it. A little earlier, I had attempted a shot with the moon almost full during daylight but, sadly, with my little camera, the moon was virtually invisible in the final shot - but it did give me the idea to place a slightly larger-than-life moon in this one. Hope you like the final result. Thanks for looking. :-) ------------------------------- Original Photograph 31-Dec-2008 Postwork in PhotoShop

Excellent job you did here, the sepia works well.

I love the twisted trunk on those trees, and the moon almost gives the group of trees a gothic look; they look ready to rise up from their roots and take the stroll with you.

A very graceful and appealing stand of trees. With the huge moon there, it has a fabulous appeal.
