Description

Bindweed might look pretty, but it's invasive as all getout! This one is growing in my neighbor's blue spruce. Been trying a new filter. :) Full view will show it off.

Fantastic effect, so glowing and a small wrinkles at a edge of the petals is just super. Did I see some pine in the corner?....even better!

The blue spruce in this is just totally beautiful. I have never heard the term Bindweed used for this nasty flower - we called it wild morning glory. No matter what it is called you are correct in saying that it is invasive as all get out!

Superb POV and lighting effects in this macro, but I've never heard or seen of either species.

Beautiful shot! I've been fighting a loosing battle with the thorny vines in the woods out back. I guess I should find out what they are so I could call them by name when I'm cussing them, LOL.

Very pretty. The filter effect is the outlining I presume...looks very good. The flower is the shape of the old Victrola trumpet. Now, I may have a few years behind me but that was way before my time too. I am thinking of the old advertisements with the dog, the Victrola and the saying, "His masters voice." Bill

these flowers are always bold...maybe it has something to do with their strength (able to infiltrate gardens, bushes, trees, etc.). But your filtering transformed them into a silken portrait, where the flower's 'bell' looks like a great speaker (ala the old phonograph days). It's quite strking. The filtering also gives subtle-but-clear outlines to the petals & leaves, which gives a luminous look to the greens, and the feeling that the flower was almost sewn! I think this is beautiful. And, as always, very thoughtful...
