She had a simple beauty about her
She had that wonderful combination
Of both a lady
And a woman
A healthy laugh
A twinkle in her eyes
At first I thought
She is way out of my league
Then she ordered a beer
And I knew this gal
Was perfect for a evening gown
Or a tight pair of jeans
She could make you feel like a king
In front of kings
And make you feel like a man
In front of men
She could lay her head
On your shoulders
Fall to sleep
While you drove that old truck
Or scoot you over
And take over driving
When you were to tired
I don’t know if I will ever get to see her again
But I know in my heart
I will never forget

This poem is for my friend John. I had dinner the other night with him and his wife Sue and I just had to write something haha. Sorry Sue I hope you don’t kill me. She is a wonderful lady. I am just not sure what in the world she is doing with the idiot John haha. I hope everyone likes this one. Vaggabondd
