Description
I'm currently writing a tutorial on how to create the Lantern above, all step by step. It is up to 80 pages right now and still growing, it will be a part of my Online Tutorial Shop. This is a texture test of a rustic texture, comments welcome!

Oh man!! , this is very nice, I just built the exact same thing my self (unintentionaly). I wanted a lantern to hang from the rigging of a boat for a scene I was doing an' remembered I had an old DXF on a magazine disk from a while back that would do just fine, But when I opened it up the mesh was screwed and I ended up dong the whole thing from scratch. ;-)

Nice :) a bit too deep or too much of the bump map but other then that its perfect.

agree with RobinOberg....but maybe the tex could use some bottom or top clipping to the bump to make it seem more random....love the model and over all render...makes me wish i had the money for LW....great wood tex in ther scene tho
