Description

My first Vue attempt, copying an image capture by Apollo 10: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/image/0210/rille_apollo10.jpg I am having a hard time getting the sand to appear soft and porous but am pleased with the lighting.

Yes, the light is really well done. The texture is successful for me, good job.

Nicely done, it certainly has the right balance of contrast, depending which side of the moon were looking at of course. The surface is very good on the large scale but maybe a little smooth IMHO.

Very good work, I found large Bump maps of the Moons surface, Work well as mapped picture import for a terrain surface. Just cut out a small area from your bump map and import that.. cheers
