Description

BUY THESE CARS!!! Oh no, not the classic cars again! Seventy-first in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. Most of the viewers enjoy and appreciate the genre, but for the car haters, I'm not going to let these venerable beauties slip meekly into oblivion and go unseen. So, as promised in December before taking a hiatus from the subject matter, I'm reopening the series in order to display the rest of the antique vehicle folder. It won't be straight autos all the way, though; I'll occasionally toss in some other stuff. For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08. A zoom view will be to your absolute benefit. Thankx for clicking on, and have a tendentious Thursday.

Boy this is great! You are back to your cracker-jack, sharp photos of splendiferous automobiles. Love 'em :-) Bill

Love the fins of the "newer" one. More great unmoldy oldies!

Oh yes...old cars again! Don't let them rust in your folders Harry. Not everybody has an opportunity to visit auto shows so your series realy fascinating adn entertaining.

Haha.... I knew you'd be bringing these beauties back O'lboy. Maybe it's the angle but a awesome paint job and reflections on the newer one. Great shots and a cool comparison. Nice work once again Harry!

Isn't that Maybelline in the bottom shot? For some reason it doesn't look like what I'd think of a Cadillac as looking like. But then what do I know? Excellent shots as usual!

I'm no expert on cars, but I could imagine some gangsters hanging out of the top car..........Tommy guns blazing!

Both shots are fantastic but the 57' Eldorado is my favorite.

I'm neither a lover or a hater of cars, not everything is black and white. I can see myself in the top one.

Yay! Back to the old cars again. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, and your tortured daisies were great, but I must say, I really did miss the cars. I am a big fan of the cars they made in 57', so I'm gonna have to admit that I like the bottom one better. Both great shots though.
