Hello!
I know, this is nothing super special...but I made the dress texture and trans map for it and I was pretty happy about it! This is the first one I have done.
I used some fabric brushes from Deviant Art:

and some hair brushes for the whispy effect from there, too:

I have never really played around in Photoshop, but seeing what some of you do there, I thought I'd give it a try.
Please keep in mind I am still learning, but I'd be happy to hear your thoughts and suggestions!!

The dress texture is beautiful. Has a nice velvet look to it. The girl reminds me of that pretty young movie actress now making the rounds in a lot of today's top comedies.
