Description

Remember when virtually the only thing you saw computer graphics on was sci-fi films and programmes like Bab5? It was ideal for early 3D graphics as you didn't need to cope with the extreme complexities of nature - and you could design more or less what you liked! This is a real hotch-potch image - the background ship modelled, textured and rendered in Vue 7 Pioneer (free Beta) using techniques from the Chipp Walters tutorial that I mentioned in my last post. The foreground fighter is a freebie by RJ001 (great models - low prices!) imported, remapped and textured in Carrara 7 Pro. The two then combined in Photoshop. Phew! I hope you like the resultant image - I will move on to other subjects soon! Have a great weekend - Phil
