Description
Again for a forum challenge titled Wicked Carnival. These are the the snake women and there leader Cobra Queen. They charm the snakes as well as the male admirers and every now and then one goes missing. male admirer that is not the snakes. pencil sketch and then finished in photoshop CS3. This was a great learning piece for me.

i like it but it seems more naughty than wicked to me. i especially like the flowing silks. i have some renders that are now more than 2 years old that i wanted to treat similarly. i just decided to give up on them, but studying your silks makes me think maybe i can do something with them. it looks hard, but not as impossible as when i didn't really have an example. i also like your skin tones, and how your overall use of color. and i like the detail on the snakes' skins.

Nice handling of the cloths and snakes. Great scene. The queen looks a bit chunky in the middle. Perhaps this was intentional...
