Description
Μοῖραι – the apportioners
The Moirai, or Fates were:
Klotho (Κλωθώ – spinner) spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.
Lachesis (Λάχεσις - allotter) measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod.
Atropos (Ἄτροπος – inexorable) was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner and timing of each person's death. When she cut the thread with "her abhorrèd shears", someone on Earth died.

Brilliant piece, I love the expressions and posing, and what really makes this is the postworking in that horizon. Fascinating piece, and nicely tied to your theme.

What an awesome piece of work here. The Moirae were supposed to appear three nights after a child's birth to determine the course of its life. The Greeks variously claimed that they were the daughters of Zeus and the Titaness Themis. Outstanding piece of Mythology brought to life. Peace
