you've caught Nicklas's face in an angle that seems difficult to paint, yet you've painted it with ease. The blues are rich, and your violet-shading on his face is very nice—it gives him an inward feeling. And that blast of sunset colors—the reds & yellows under his ear—is wonderful. It's wonderful to see your painting: I didn't know you could paint like this! A very fine portrait of your son.
