Description

There is a farm about 30 minutes from where I live that has buffalo. I always want to take pictures when we go past but they are either up in the high pasture or I do not have my camera. I was excited to finally be able to catch them yesterday. They were at the top of the lower pasture and close enough to get a decent picture but the picture is not as clear as I would like it to be. I do hope you enjoy it though. They are such magnificent animals. Best full-size. Thank you for all comments and favorites on my previous uploads. Have a nice Sunday, Bronwyn

They are powerful animals and I can't but wonder what they are thinking. Not very friendly faces. Not to worry about the photo - a very nice capture. Dana P

Great shot, Bronwyn! Been once on a country road in MI, where I saw a farm with buffalos, but there was no place to pull over... and I missed the shot!

Gee, I almost missed this one. I like things as sharp as possible too but this is still very good. Glad you posted this. I saw just the other day that there is a fireplace mantel in the White House that has buffalo carved on it. Oriiginally it had lions...Theodore Rosevelt had it changed to buffalo as the quintessential American animal. Bill
