Description
Kay was real patient with me on this one! She made this experiment easy on me. (She is nice to look at. Don't you agree?) Arrghhh! Still messing around with the rendering limits on my machine. I have found that textures size and bucket size has a lot to do with the amount of memory used. So this is my test image (final) I have rendered this image 6 times. That does not include all the failed attempts that ended with memory error. I hope I have figured this problem out enough to keep me happy. Thank you for all of your comments and favs on my last image "Pretty as a picture(revisited)" All of your comments inspire me to keep pushing on past all the frustrating road blocks of learning new programs and techniques.

Yep, I know what you mean about memory errors, I run into them every so often. It takes a while to find out what your machine is capable of, but after that, your renders get easier. Very nice test subject, your picture came out great!

Great job on this! Because I cannot add any more physical memory, I've turned one of my hard drives into virtual memory - ( 9 gigs worth) and I haven't had that problem. Yet!

Ahh Memory Errors plaque D/S in much the same way. Very nicely rendered - textures and lighting all look good here.

Fantastic work, Johnny! I don't think I've seen Kay look better! Fantastic lighting and posework! Oh, who out there HASN'T had the run time error where DS or Poser or whatever just out and out shuts down on you? Exceptionally frustrating! But well worth the effort!
