Description

Up close to another jumping spider they are so patient & I'm so slow. Just one of the Opisthoncus species. This is one of several salticid species that prefers to live among green leaves, one of which is partly rolled into a tube which the spider uses as a retreat. First cyclone of the season is dumping heaps of rain on the north of Australia which has turned much of the inland into giant rivers & lakes. Have a fun week / Ralph

I reckon there there is no need to zoom-in, scary enough without doing that. The eyes have definitely got it...on the other hand he looks like an extra from a Sci-Fi movie. Cheers BB
