Description
Conflict, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, forces one to adhere strongly to his beliefs, feel justified in his cause, be unrelenting, and not allow even the slightest compromise.
In a state of war, one is disciplined, willing to make sacrifices, willing to execute judgment without doubt and extremely motivated.
Attention is focused on an external adversary, leaving no time or mental space for self evaluation, criticism, or doubt.
Priorities and perspectives are organized very rapidly. Non essentials are cast aside, be they thought processes, irrelevant activities, challenging discourse and argument. Actions are quickly carried out with little thought given to consequences.
Feelings of power, passion, and of vitality surge in the aggressor. It gives one meaning in life, albeit temporary.
