I am not sure, but I guess for protection against cold and rain, and the mask probably to not run away! I was just riding my bike when I saw him...

Wonderful picture I also love horses but I dont know way they wrapped him up that way.....but still it is a great picture.

Lovely artwork! He sure does seem like a horse in "shining" armour :) Hehe... very cute indeed...although I'm almost afraid to ask why he's all masked up? I especially admire the POV and the lighting!
