We lived with my dad's parents, they had been rehoused after being bombed-out during the Blitz. My mum had looked after my nan who had breast cancer and died 3rd August ( my dad's birthday)1958 and my grandad who died 21st February( Suzanne's birthday) 1959
L to R Suzanne ( my sister) me and Tina ( Suzanne's partner in crime!).Suzanne & Tina were 2 years older than me.
I have memories of sitting bare foot among the pigeons sharing dry bread with them...
Ronnie, I would have loved your curly hair...my sister got all the curls!
Big thank to Ronnie PD154 for the nudge down memory lane.
