this is considered light rail and they have a regular train that runs longer runs to comprise the subway system of Dallas metro dedicated to anyone that loves trains

They have those here and they run from Hillsboro through Portland to Troutdale.Then from Portland down to Tigard.I have clocked them doing up to 60 mph. They are expanding them right now for over the next few years to run all the way to Salem/ Excellent shot my friend

Really beautiful technical view. One needs such kind of document not only to understand what happens in other countries, in what the transportation systems differ, but also to imagine other countries, other situations, e.g. to create realistic comics. This is the reason too why I take so many photos.

Great capture, Richard. Interesting piece of infrastructure. Prolly healthy for the enviroment, too.. Looks to be electrically drive..so it doesn't smoke much i guess.
