To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Enchanting scene! Bravo!

I really recognize the work of both of you, and it's a beautiful melding & collaboration, one work made out of two...the lights are deep but luminous, the forest is deep but open, the caravan is beautifully detailed, and so on. Also, the curving forms in the foreground seem to echo the carvings on the carriage, and they feel like a gentle gate...A beautiful piece of work in the difficult art of collaboration, and of course those winnowing lights are pure magic.

STUNNING! BREATHTAKING!!! This is by far my most very, very favorite of all your works and that is saying a lot because all of your works are so beautiful. I love the whole scene, it is something you could find in my own imagination! I adore the wagon, and the cat being nearly hidden, well aren't all cats half-shadow? (mine are anyway! :) ) Though the wagon looks a bit like the Gypsies would use, to me the whole scene conveys a very Celtic feel...( have you ever seen the movie with two runaway Irish boys and a magic stallion they call Tir Nan Og, and the family who lived in wagons called "Travellers"? this is very reminiscent of that) ...and I love forests so much, so lots of kudos to Realm of Illusion, her forest is fantastic and very magical. You have a lot of magic in you Mina, it is an amazing gift. B*B
