Hello all!!!
Here is our new puppy "Belle" on her blue beanbag a few hours ago. We just got her a few days back . She is 5 months old and an AKC purebred cocker spaniel .
Yes, now we have three cocker spaniels-!!! This little girl was bought for Mo -yeah so we will be doing the whole family thing when Bell gets old enough so the kids can learn from the whole puppy experience , so Belle here is a mate for our other spaniel Mo. Our other dog Candi is getting up there in years (10 now ) and just won't play with Mo. We had my Mom's dog teddy here for a few months when my Mom broke her arm Mo and Teddy would play for hours . Then when Teddy went back home Mo was depressed as Candi wouldn't play with him so that got us thinking about one more. I was quite surprised and a little in shock when Mike up and bought her this week he found her online and bought home this little sweetheart . We are still in the process of housebreaking but I think it won't take her long I can tell she is smart and wants to please!
I just cannot believe we have three.
I was going to wait till I had time to do a shoot on her but couldn't wait to show you so just snapped this quickly in the kitchen today - held up a puppy treat and got her to look up ) and so played with it a little in paint shop to draw her out. She was biting the beanbag when I captured her ...hehe...she is very happy , good natured and has a wonderful personality ! Belle makes me laugh so much ( doesn't cry or whine but when she wants attention sometimes she moo moos like a little baby cow LOL!)!!
((((pssst.... later today after looking at a macro of her for a while in paintshop-haha- she has since been cut and groomed and looks much more like a proper little lady and has now fluffy silky feathers on her legs ,.. hmmm I prob should have waited to do her portrait a little scruffy in this one -does not seem to do her justice now!!! well i will leave it up anyways here ...)))

OMG!!! I am in love!! How very precious! I'm wiping a tear as I type, remembering my Sandy and the broken toe I got housebreaking him, lol. He's adorable, Kimmie, and your picture is wonderful! I got my first Cavalier because I knew Sandy was so old that it would not be long, and it's always best for a dog to have a companion when you are not around. Good luck, I'm sure he will be a delightful addition to the family, and he sure found a good home!

Ahh, the politics of family pets. Mo is lucky to have such a caring family. I had 4 cats once, now that was politics plus. The smallest one was the boss of the whole neighbourhood, dogs included lol

Ohhh, Belle is so adorable! And how lucky she is to have found such a loving home. Puppies always bring such joy --nothing more fun than watching them play together.
