Description

Blah... I tested one of my Asian morphs for V4 and got carried away. Pic looks kind of mangish, and I'm not into manga at all - weird. Anyway thanks for stopping by! PS. This is my first pic on new monitor, and I haven't calibrated it yet properly, so I hope this render won't burn your eyes ;) ---- V4, P6, PS Ranger (DAZ)

Don't worry, my eyes aren't burned too much. Very good looking character. I can see a little bit of manga character in her, but over all she looks great. Nice work.

yay! i was hoping you would post again soon. i've had very similar issues with going from morphing program (mine is Blender) to reality. for Asian eyes, it might help to start with an eye shape that isn't slanted upward. most of my references have eyes with a fairly flat bottom, the corner straight across and an arched top with the apex toward the inside. then again, your morphs are way better than mine, so i'm not sure if that will help. i really like her nose and lips (they seem like your style), and i think the shape of her face is very fitting. i think the colors look rich, vibrant and very warm. i like how she looks a lot. i love the bow. something about the flow of the wood seems uncommon to me, but i can't pin down what. you've really mastered skin highlights. the clothes could probably use some edge blend(assuming the top is cloth and not leather). her hair is pleasantly spiky and asymmetrical, and contrasts well with her simple, staid clothes and dignified bearing. overall, i think this is less realistic than others in your gallery, but no less striking and artistically pleasing. it's a great portrait, and looks like a professional fantasy illustration.
