this cabbage is very much like a rose in the way its leaves unfold like the rose pedals.

yes, it's very much like a rose. These patterns are like divine vision sprinkled across the planet, and though I've seen cabbage plants many times, I never made the connection with roses. You gave us a cabbage with nice discoloration (a sign of its beauty & strength), and the white-spots on its leaves make it shimmer. Nice choice of plant & nice lighting & shade. A burst of a plant when you think of it & a nice 'variation' on the roses you've enshrined here already.

I had a flash... take 6 full heads of cabbage, jam them on the end of a broom handle and stick them in the ground for a larger than life bouquet! This is a lovely shot of this and shows off it's flowering quality well.
