Description

Another day, another different genre, and although it is a comic character, I have tried to stick to a realistic style. This takes me back actually - I remember drawing lots of superheroes as a young teen - this clearly shows that I haven't really grown up! I did the outfit myself with MFD as the base and using Carrara 7's new 3D painting on colour, alpha and displacement channels to achieve the final look, plus there is some postwork. The background is of course HowieFarkes' Country Lane. Thanks for looking and all the recent feedback, I really appreciate your comments! Phil

I havent grown up too mate:) as for me ..besides marvel comics super heros..i simply luv Utraman & Astroboy. This is a good one tho i wish the leaves on the trees can do wth a little more motion blurrness but that's my take:)

Very nice! I admire the detail and the composition. I, too, lean towards more realistic representation of Super-Heroes. Thus the avatar and the few I have at my gallery. Great job!

She looks like the perfect rendition of the Character I loved when I was growing up. I still like strong women, LOL. Great POV, and very nice job of incorporating her into the background
