Description

...is NEVER a good thing. If you are reading this, thank you for taking part in a little social experiment of mine. Basically speaking, I'm fed up with some of the 'artists' here who put purposeless nudity into their renders simply for the View Count increase. Personally, I don't mind nudity, and appreciate it as much as the next guy. I just don't like it when artists spam it simply for a View Count increase. Yes, this is a rant, of sorts, and if you've read it this far, thanks for listening.

A naked woman is the most beautiful goddam thing on the face of this planet. Lighten up and enjoy ! Maybe some people just dig posing naked women! I for one, have been posing and animating female figures for about a year and a half now, and I have never ever loaded one piece of clothing to a figure YET! Why you so sure it's all about view count?? Nice render.

GOOD ART!!! will increase the view count. Waffling about gratuitous nudity is seemingly trying to impose YOUR form of censorship !!! post your art and let others post theirs as they see it.........

LOL, you hit the nail on the head. Maybe we should segregate Renders into two categories. Where you must register to see the nudity and those that do not! Cheers.

Yup, I've had to settle for 100 or so visits for a "standard" scene, it jumps to 500 or more just if "nudity" tagged. So I tend to just do my thing (e.g. nudity only if on-topic for the purposes of the scene) and ignore the popularity contests...

Art is a very flexable term and one under constant debate. The nude human form has been a popular artistic subject probably since the dawn of time. It's human nature, base instict. While it's true that a nudity content tag will draw more viewers it is also true that quality cannot be judged by those numbers. It cannot be judged by any of the other statistics calculated here either. Find a way to be happy with your own art and get what enjoyment you want viewing the art of others. Be your own content filter. Public rants often fall on deaf ears and easily become self consuming. Trust me, I know first hand.

Sorry, but I do happen to agree here. There is nudity for the sake of art (and some of it here is lovely and moving and HOT) and then there is nudity for the sake of nudity. I mean please, why render a scene of people entering a club and have the women nude and the bouncers clothed? That just makes me believe that the scene was rendered by a horny seventeen year old and I don't take it seriously. But whatever. I just don't comment on it and I move on. It's a shame that some of the best images in these galleries get less views because they don't depict a nude woman with huge boobs. {{insert rolling eyes here}}.

Back in the days we did a little experiment at the office. To get everyone to read a note at the bulletin board we selected a head line. " Free sex! Don't miss out!". It was funny to watch how the office stuff cramped around the board. Sex sales that a fact! (cheap but it does!) So out of desperation we do many thinks, what to do!? However it was/ is a great Idea to put an Image up with a title like that.

I also agree. I have no problem with nudity that is artist. But in your face nudity, naw, I dont care for it. Unfortunatly nudity/sex does sell, just check the stats on this image...views vs comments, lol. I have no issues with a well done nude, male or female, but just sticking naked bodies in a scene, is not art, in my opinion,(and that's all it is an opinion, everyone has one).
