Well, fact is we know so much more about Superman than we do about Obama. And that's the truth. We know what Superman stands for and what he believes in. And we know everything about his history that has shaped him to be what he is, thinks, and believes in. We know what he wants to do. Unfortunately, those are all giant voids in what's known about Obama. So American hero? I hope one day we can say that he is, but say so based on some facts and not just emotion. But for now all we have is "hope", and usually hope is nothing more than a substitute for action.

Exactly...Hope.I was not an Obama supporter, but was there even any real good choices(-I can see Russia from my house.). But I Hope this guy does what he says and backs his words with actions. The only thing is that he, like Bush came into the presidency with alot on the table rather than a clean slate. So I hope as well as all Americans that He will earn the right to be called an American Hero. Thank you for the comment.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Obama is going to be a one term disaster like Carter. And like Phrank Power said, we know more about a comic book character than we do about the next president. That should worry all of us.

Cool pic. What exactly does knowing a lot about a person have to do with anything? We knew quite a bit about W. We knew he liked cocaine too much, booze too much and had been pretty much a failure in every job he had. So we elected him....twice. And that has turned out soooo well hasn't it?
