Description

I had to re-use this pose and figure... (I really like it) "Hope you don't mind seeing this old thing again" I have 14 dress mannequins and 10 mini light bulbs and 1 reflective floor; all freebies. And everything had to be re-textured; (3697px. X 4750px. at 455 res.) (About 5 or 6 hours until it was done) Anyway it's kinda plain and boring, but I like, and I hope you like it too. "Thanks for looking"

i don't find it plain or boring at all. for me, it straddles the line between fashion and the genuinely creepy. i know it would be a ton of work and take forever, but i think it would be great to use point lights, bagginsbill's inverse square falloff material and IBL generation tool, and do a version of the same scene with just the head bulbs. which, i suppose, is why it takes me ages to make images. the pose is great, and i like the outfit, especially the boots. i think horizontal stripes on a bent item create distortion problems, but it's not a big deal. the text crowds her head, but i'm not sure that's bad. it creates some of the tension that makes this image unsettling. and i really like the strip of black in her hair. i think the bases of the mannequins are so shiny that they take attention away from the focal figure, the lighting could be adjusted to account for falloff and ambient/reflected lighting and the figure's shoulders could be postworked. but the work is artistically very good, with a solid composition, great concept and striking design.

Excellent work. The mannequins with the light bulb head is brilliantly surrealistic (no pun intended).
