Description

I learned that the fae have an interesting game they play in Fae Valley. It is called Scepter Tag. As they explained to me and showed me, it involves touching the large scepter and flying away. While this may sound simple, there is an interesting twist to it. The scepter has a magic charge, similar to an electric charge. And it randomly discharges and not always to the nearest person or thing. So the idea is to fly up to the globe of the scepter touch it and fly away and not get 'zapped' by the charge. They tell me it is a strong tingling sensation that leaves you a bit numb but otherwise unharmed. Something like the Van de Graff generator only magical. Zlata, Sarina, Aiko and a playful dragonfly showed me how the game was played. I'm not sure who was the most agile of the group, but there was more darting about that I almost gave myself a sore neck watching them fly. As they stated, it wasn't always the closest person to get zapped and I saw this happen several times to all of them. Just after this picture was done, the dragonfly got zapped even though Aiko was the closest and Zlata was not that much further away. truly an interesting game, one that bears closer observation, but not too close thank you. The range of the bolts is about 5 meters, so far as I can tell so far. I'll let you know if that is true or not. Thank you all for the wonderful comments and faves on my last upload of the Japanese Maple. Great render. Maybe to emphasize the magic of the scepter it should glow or have some sparks come off of it. Just a small suggestion.
