Description
This old girl was originally intended to keep the Russians out, when it was feared they would invade in the early years of the twentieth century! It turns out they never came! Now it is fired in March each year as part of The Williamstown Festival.

Hi Andrew...Don't know if you get the TV program we get here by the name of "Antiques Road Show", but they'd be quick to point out...not rust...patina! And Lord help you if you refinish an antique...half the value goes away if you mess with the "patina" :-) Great POV here.

Yes I do know the show mate. I have had a few cars in the past that were drowning in 'patina' in that case! They must be worth a million bucks by now!!!! It's one of the pleasures of living on a beach.
