Description
More work on previous post. I have never modeled shoes before. I think these came out pretty damn good for a first try. They aren't complete, there's some detail that needs to go into the leg (seam, laces) but this is a good point to take a render. Some polys will come out of the heel when this is getting finalized for Poser.
I don't want to toot my own horn too much, but - well - modeling shoes is really damn hard! These were modeled in Cinema 4D R11 using extrusion modeling techniques, all quads. The V4 figure that I'm modeling around is actually posed into high heels pose, which is generally a very bad idea, but I couldn't imagine how you'd model an appealing shoe of this nature without posing the feet!
I actually exported this to OBJ and brought it into Poser to see if I could rig it, and as it turns out it's not terribly hard - you have to adjust the endpoints of the bones while the rig is conformed onto the target figure, it's a bit messy to do by hand but with some care it works out.
At bottom is the "microjacket" part of the outfit.
Enjoy, feedback welcome :)

Yes, I have to agree. The shoes are looking very good. Is it possible to post a little HowTo over at C4D forum? Would be cool

I am thoroughly impressed... those shoes are hot, hun... yes, a bit of a how-I-did-it would be cool, then I'd have a go in Blender3D, staying with all quads, of course!
