Description

Full size view recommended. Thanks! Terrain was made in GeoControl2, textured in Vue using GC2 selectors as distribution maps for the material mix. Rendered in Global Radiosity. Thanks for watching! EDIT: due to comments about the castle color, I changed it now. Thanks!

I like the mountains, snow and the people, which certainly creates the scale. If I had to pick one negative aspect it would be the castle. Perhaps it is the castles colour, but it seems really out of place and does look obviously 3D. However perhaps that was your intention to create a surreal scene. Congratulations on the snow I know how difficult snow can be to create in 3D.

Excellent render, and realistic..... when viewing the full size, the ambient temperature in the room dropped by several degrees. I agree about the castle, to me it didn't look so realistic. I tip here would be to take back the opacity of the MAT on the castle to help it blend in with the scene. The two figures in the scene give it scale, and are expertly added so as to be believable.

I am envious of the snow here- I'm still not very good with it in Vue. This must be viewed full size to appreciate. Excellent scene.

Great snow job! Um... I mean: Fantastic work on the terrain. The little people give it great scale. And the darkened sky makes it look real high up.
