Description

Hi there, I was a little unhappy with the first version of this rune image. And by and by i become much more unhappy. So I decided now to create this rune image again. This one I like much more but I`m really interested in your opinion! Poser, Vue, Photoshop. Thanks for viewing and any comment you may leave. I really appreciate your support! I`ll see you in your gallery soon.

Ok but only because you ask. Firstly, because you only give us small size images to work with it is hard to make a fair and honest comparison. You see them full size and not reduced jpg so you see much more. Personally I like your first one better, sorry. Why? Because it has better shadow depth, because it has a sense of movement radiating from the centre both in the clouds and on the ground from in front of the throne. This latter is now lost by the tighter forground cropping and the sundail. I know why you would put a sundial in for an image of time but I find it too big and central - it doesn't fit into the scene... it is too mechanical wheras the scene is organic. The overall orange lighting was more effective for change... orange lighting comes at the beginning or end of a day or near a storm... these are all times of change. I hope you are not offended becuase this is a fine piece of work unto itself. But perhaps some things are better left... unchanged:-)

I think this one is more dynamic, though I prefer the orange sky of the first one, and the lighter shadows..but I like the sundial and I think it is a good shape to make the viewer look around the whole picture, and I think it matches the big Year Wheel in the back! The flying leaves are wonderful!

Between the two version I like this one. The figure should be the center focus of your image. I think I would have her head turned towards the camera and the upper part of her body too. Not a sharp turn, but a gentle flow. That to me would give more realism to the image and make the background a secondary focal point. I agree with brewgirlca that the first image has more depth to it. It also has the appearance of more motion. I would add more shadow to this one but have it softer so that it isn't uniform and heavy as in the first one. Both images are very nice and I can appreciate the time you put into them. Great job!

I like the dynamic hair and flying of the clothes in the first one better. The sundial at the right I like, it is a very nice addition to the image. This one looks colder... Each image has something, the main thing is that you like it :-) and so we get the opportunity to see some wonderful detailed images ;)
