Description

Denise MrsRatBag your comment to my photo that I titled Out for a Swim, gave me a good laugh, I think because sometimes we are in need of a smile or to laugh and let things go a little more than we know it ourselves, and it comes to you at the best possible time, so please do not think I am making fun of your comment to my Duck photo, just thought I would have a little fun with it. This was her comment,to the photo below. Gorgeous Goose shot!

Stellar clarity and colors in this collage of the glorious fowl, Lynell! I like the way the goose is taking a gander at the ducks, who may want to remain unseen and duck the goose.

Great swans! (ok not funny...) Hey, I might've confused the goose with a pheasant. (Hell, given my urban background I could've confused that thing with an ostrich!) (Ok, not an ostrich...) Denise is fine with it, and with her beautiful work, she can mistake a goose anyday. A nice chunk of your gallery is your sense-of-humor, your word-plays, playfulness etc., so you can correct us anytime you want. (I gotta say, you got a lotta 'moo' jokes here. I know several cows who are personally upset & are talking to their lawyers as we speak...) And names aside, the pictures are beautiful Lynell. You get these silken water lines, you did in the last shot too; and the white of the ducks is strong offset to the deep water-hues. As for the goose: He looks like a British Brigade Commander checking out the troops (cheerio!), or like he's posing: He's looking off to the side like he's trying to look suitably unconcerned with the camera but deep down expects a portrait out of this. Wonderful triptych. Hey, go tell a duck he made a 'triptych'—that's one happy duck. ("Guys: I'm in a triptych!") Wonderful upload, as always... (and keep healing! here's to your eyes getting whole again!)

lol I know many people who can't identify duck or goose, and to be fair - sometimes it's not so easy since there are species who even part the experts! ;) Nice tryptich! ;)
