Description

Multiple Vue renders and composited in PS. The Dryad was created using leaves painted onto a figure and then the figure deleted, leaving the dryad shape. Computer crashed a few times because there are thousands of leaves that were object painted

While I don't know what a Dryad is... I do start to see a figure towering over the children and especially what seems to be a head and left arm. If correct then I can imagine a right arm, which I wish were outstretched over them. I like the concept and especially that you are pushing the envelope here with the compositing and removal technique. I think this would be a fab image should you work on the Dryad more. Pushing the limits of your machinery is sometimes painful but in the long run means you are really working towards that perfect image. My current work is taking two computers doing 50+ hr renders each for compositing and my efforts are getting better I hope. After posting this I will look up a Dryad.... I'm 61 for peat sake.. can't keep up with everything. By the way...I'm in love with the tree trunks.... Your work is why you are one of my favorite artists.

That is just wonderful--I'm glad you were able to work around your computer's limitations to create this amazing image--it really needs all those leaves to be so spectacular!

Excellent work....I really like that, while you can definately see the outline of the dryad, the leaves begin to float away, seemingly, the further down you look, as if she is forming and reforming constantly.....
