Description
Here's my first challenge entry in the Vue d'Esprit forum. This one took me about 6 hours to set up and 3 days to render. Then I did a bit of post work in Paint Shop Pro. The model I got from D. Proctor... I tore it up a bit in the picture. I didn't know what to name it. The first name was Rear Explosion... but I felt like calling it "The Effects of Pushing the Big Shiny Red Button"... seemed more accurate! let me know what you think!

Just curious... HOW in the WORLD could this piece take 3 DAYS to render??? The explosion is very cool! but the ships textures could be better!

I think it was because I used a volumetric light source with a large light casting object... anyway, I was going crazy waiting for it to render and when it got to the anti-aliasing phase and locked up my computer... I had to lower the render quality a bit before it would render properly! Talk about being POed!

Actually "don't ever push the wed one" is Daffy Duck to Elmer Fudd. But he could sell him the little green one to get him down again. Don't think the little green one would reassemble this ship. Great work Lrd. :c)

Actually, I was thinking more about the Ren & Stimpy episode when Stimpy was told not to push the red button, and the announcer was all over him!
