Living with/in the past
nine in the morning
North Wind Blowing
morning Sun makes
long shadows
of
the dried leaves
larger, too
with hints of water drops
reflecting as they move on
and suddenly pause
at random-all moving to a
different pace
with the gusts
leaves
rolling down the otherwise
quiet street
many, many
tumbling along
they are carried South
by the gusty-cold wind
dried leaves
tumbling and moving toward the river
(most make it there)
then
allowing
to be carried
out to sea...
