G'day,
and thank you for the chance to introduce myself......
okay, that sounds waaaay too stuffy.... how about this then...... I was raised on Canadian Army Bases which limited the type of grand exposure that my peers would have enjoyed... (In High School, every one of my City Friends would spend Monday mornings talking about Saturday Night Live.... I had no idea what an Ackroyd or a Belushi was....). but you learn.......
I am mostly self taught as no respectable art school would have anything to do with me.
I make movies, live and animated, am one half of a Jazz Duo (called Three Men With Mono.... I play with another animator, the astounding Richard Reeves... and yeah we know, a duo is less than 3 men... but hey....Grand Funk Railroad isn't a Railroad, Iron Butterfly isn't an insect.... and Pink Floyd is well...)
I work in digital photography, Poser (which rules), Bryce, Deluxe Paint 4 (yes I still have working Amiga's), and anything that functions for me...and I'm developing a new animation technique for using with inexpensive digital cameras.
I am currently living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with 2 robot dogs and my dreams....
and unless you've made other plans, have a great day!

COOL BRYCING MY FRIEND ;-)

"When researching the book, The Lounge Wars, I approached my publisher, Chuk Fozdr-Kayn, about the project. I recall that his first words were... "You're Mad..." as a thousand years of information was spread to over a thousand worlds of the known sky. I trold him that it was a story that had to be told. He asked about how I would get around to gather all this info up, and I replied "by spaceship, of course". After he regained consciousness, I explained that even travelling by Starhound, the costs would be immense and that by building a research ship, we could write it off as a tax expense, have our own research vessel for future projects and still make a profit. He was still skeptical untill I reminded him that my other books, "Kah-Deen, Earth's dirty little secret", "How to make love in Zero G", and the huge bestseller "99 places to visit while the taxman is searching for you", had brought in enough coinage to keep him in a very lavish lifestyle and that he wasn't the only publisher that could be interested in the book. On that, (and the thought of a tax dodge) he relented and sent me to his private yacht maker, K-Roll Schel-B, to get hte machine built. When i told Schel-B what I had in mind... his first words were "You're mad...". I had been impressed by the idea that Reen-Oh had in their Great Experiment, a super duarable Reen-Oh hull with Vay-Gas engines. I then showed him the money and the work was on.. My designe included a few things that the Great Experiment (The Killer) didn't have.... lotsa bathrooms, on each deck, for all the crew to use. I needed speed, so we choose the new Deodato Class, Thus Spake Zarathrusters, they also ge great mileage with very little emmisions. I also needed updated Field/Lift Generators, as now that the war is over, there is an increase in pirate activity with out of work soldiers and spacers looking to scratch out and existance. For protection, I went with four (instead of the usual two) Push-comes-to Shove Grav Resist Generators. I picked up a good crew in Tortuga, and we set sail for the stars, to recapture for posterity, the Thousand Years of Hell, that was The Lounge Wars. The Lounge Wars, "Author's Forward" Back in the Lounge, The girls are out shopping again, cleaning up a bit (still) after the New Years Party.... man, what an evening...... still sufferig a bit for it.... anybody see a bionic left leg around? Waitress.... coffee please, and keep it coming....

'Show me the money' always works !... and then don't invest it into dubious "Freddoes Mackoes" or 'Funny HaHa Mais", after the books...next is the film-rights or wrongs...make sure now to give it to Quantum Terrortino's script-writers (friend of mine & Jeff's), I love all his moving things...naturally ! & so would the girls ! but only to modify the difficult war-bits. He will sort'em out, because he can...I mean did you see the 'Reservoir Hounds ???...well if YOU are mad, as they say...so is Quantum T We can't all be 'Writers' or 'Lovers'... but YOU keep up the good works now, hear me ? must read all your books one fine day, sounds MAD, I know ! p.s. love the idea of 4 !!! 'when Push-comes-to-Shove GRG's, more is better ! didn't see any bionic legs...but a few eyeballs rolling in the back of my 'ead. BB
