Description

On a thousand worlds, under a million alien suns mankind will colonize the galaxy. Many will meld with machine, others will alter their genetic code until they are no longer recognizable as human. Some will upload their personalities into pure data and travel between the stars on energy waves. Datastreams, containing the lifes, knowledge and wisdom of a entire race will be transmitted throughout the galaxy. As evolution moves forward, the final goal will be acheived: Human Trancendence. Some beleive that this may be possible in our own lifetimes, that we may be the first generation on earth to control our own lifespans and to arrest aging. As soon as 2030-50 bioengineering, nanotechnology and cyber-modification could allow mankind in years to evolve what would take eons for nature to complete. Mostly modelled in Xfrog. Poser character 'Emmanuelle' by Magnet. Mohawk hair by Xena, dke. Some use of 'Bryce FX' textures by GeorgeD. Cant find the sky exactly out of my 1000 or so in the directory but locally downloaded from freebies. The earth model i found on another freebie site. Almost forgot: used Fewture's 100 eye mega pack on right eye.

I like this. The thumb looked a little 'confused' which I the reason I'd not looked at this earlier, but the proper image is great. The detail is very good, and so is the render. What I would suggest is (a) get rid of the purple - it overshadows the image and (b) maybe try using a light hemisphere for soft, diffused shadows and super-real ambience, maybe 50 lights or so? It'll increase the render time but I think the overall pic would benefit.
