Description

Perched at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio is this abandoned Coast Guard station. It has a unique art deco design but it is quickly deteriorating. If no buyer is found it will eventually be reclaimed by the very lake its men once patrolled.

The dramatic sky makes this a very exciting image. Beautful to look at.

I thought to myself when I was there in July, so many places, like this, were going to waste. Some with history attached and others that were just waiting to become history. :-) The pov on this is great.

Very symbolic the storm clouds hanging over it, great mood and warm colors.

Great photo! I have to agree with MrsLubner; probably the best POV of the building out of the pics Google was able to find for me. I hope someone restores it.
