Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us.  Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!Â

ha! Sweet shot Jodie! I visited the Amazin' Farm Animals just outside of Paynesville last Fall; there were goats there; and that's when I first realized their pupils! Cool huh ? :) :)

Yes, the eyes have it... I have often wondered what the world must look like through that sort of a pupil, but have never seen a discussion of it anywhere. Perhaps it helps them to climb anything fearlessly. Another great (and very cute) capture.

Sometimes I think they are too smart. This one seems to have all sorts of things going through its mind. Wonderful capture.

nice angled shot Jodie, and I've seen goats' eyes a few times, but never really noticed. (In chicago, you see a goat, you run...) They really look like rectangles. You got a nice angle, nice play between his black & white, and really nice detailing on his coat—especially the ear. (That's a beautiful ear!) And I like how part of him is going through the fence. A really fine capture and certainly something I don't see much in the city. And a restive greenish tint to the whole—which of course you pick up in your frame & signature. Always giving care to the details...Looks like a very gentle soul... It's a new day, Jodie, we have a new leader! Let's hope it's a change for the world...
