Description

This one took the better part of a day to finish. It is V4 wearing the MFD. I compleatly painted over the composition in PS after the 2 hour render in Br6.1. The dress was the hardest part, with trying to get the satin/silk texture just right. I guess the face was the next most difficult part with trying to get the eyes to look right. In all I would guess it took a total of about 20 hours over 2 days to finish this. I was inspired by the articles by Marta Dahlig found in my favorite magizine IFX every month. Thanks every one for your comments and as always I welcome your comments and ratings. BTW- the Graphic novel project has been put on the back burnner for a while. A few other thing has come up that has taken presidence over it. so...I will keep you all posted.

Isn't that ImagineFX magazine great! This is super, you really make the satin look excellent--I wondered how you got Bryce to have such subtle textures;-) Bryce actually has a pretty cool renderer, and I like the lights..including using negative lights to make fake shadows! (I wish Poser would do that). Your painting here is seamless!

WOW....this is one of your best images yet....and the time was very well spent....I love the look on her face that suggests "how dare you look at me without my permission!"....very nicely done and a fav from me!

Out-Standing pose dress design and all what a powerful beauty love her look!! My only issue though is the eyes, they lack depth which to me takes away some of intrege and full beauty because she looses that spark of life in her face. Otherwise this IS a work of art from the lighting to the detail in that lace dress Breath Taking!!

I am naturally drawn to this type of portrait work and fine this a stunning example. I love the lace work. lighting and comp. She seems to be floating over the chair though and my own son pushes me to be freer with my brush strokes in the secondary areas. london224
