Description
What to say about Nikita? each one have their own impressions of her cause she was special. I knew about her and she knew about me though we never really talked. In a way I cared about her, something I can't explain and won't even dare to try to understand. All I knew of her was that she was one step ahead.. maybe more... and that was enough reason for me to smile. Now she's not only one step ahead but one plane above , where she should be, cause some people are't meant for this world, they are meant for something bigger .
Jeff mentioned that this world had lost a star.. but now she's right up there... shinning.. laughing.. and like it says on my favorite book..
"And at night you will look up at the stars. Where I live everything is so small that I cannot show you where my star is to be found. It is better, like that. My star will just be one of the stars, for you. And so you will love to watch all the stars in the heavens . . . they will all be your friends. "
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . ."
Niki flew back home, after a brief but remarkable life , flapping her wings like a butterfly on her way to the sun till she couldn't be seen anymore... leaving us with the gift of stars that will be shinning brighter and laughing when we look at the sky at night..

I was very privileged to know Niki as a friend and was devastated at her passing. Thank you for this wonderful image and tribute to her, I know she would have loved it because of how much of your heart you obviously put into this. Thanks for sharing - and caring.

This is indeed very touching, these words brought tears to my eyes. It is always difficult when it is time for someone we love to make that final journey to a new life. I don't know the person of whom you speak so highly of but am curious. A person that is loved like that is someone I want to know. Your dedication to the new addition to the stars that shine above our heads was simply beautiful and heartfelt. My condolences to you who knew her and to her family and friends.

Thank you so much for this beautiful dedication to a younglady all of us could learn a lesson from.. a lesson of Love.. Nikita is special.. Not because what had happened to her and her sister, but because how she delt with it.. The love this beautiful soul has in her for God, her sister and all humans is most remarkable.. She truly is an Angel of Light and has touched my soul in a way I cannot describe.. All who knew her talk about the privilege of knowing her, I am no exception to that.. In her goodbye mail to me she wrote; "See you in Heaven Charley, yes?". I still can't read those words without crying like a little baby.. I can only hope that she will be visiting me where ever I am send after this life.. One Angel has gone home leaving the other wounded Angel back with us.. I pray for them with all my heart.. Praying, that's something I didn't do for many, many years. I will never, never, never forget her..
