Thanks. I wanted something irregular as far as a surface texture for the tach point and was dinking around the skins and backgrounds folders on the rendering machine when I came across an old water-only render I had done in Terragen for another experiment. Used just a plain old cone primitive with it's visibility set to like 50% and wrapped it in the water render.
