Description

This is a first portrait of the Morrigan, the Goddess of War in Irish mythology. I hope to have a full pic coming soon. Thank you for looking and any comments you might leave :-) Ash (Skin Texture and parts of the hair painted in Photoshop) edit: Tiny adjustments on Crow and Hair - bothered me though :-)

Holy smokes Ash you have truely outdone yourself on this one! I think this is your best mixed media to date. That is one powerfull looking character, at first I took it to be male... no offense but just a comment on the whacking powerful facial features. Finely crafted work on the hair and skin tones great. Love those red eyes, they fit perfectly the flaming background.

WOW! Very well done. She looks very dangerous. I love that you didn't make her conventionally beautiful (ginormous lips, soft facial features, the such) as it wouldn't have fit at all, and to me that makes her all the more beautiful. I love how you got her hair to blend into the background making her seem like one with the flames. Excellent work!
